Tom Sutherland Has Crested

Tom Sutherland has crested, hit his peak, reached the pinnacle of age 50 and is starting his long slide down the other side.

The mission of this blog is to help family and friends celebrate with him and make the slippery disent more bearable. So, join in and share your thoughts, memories and photos of Tom as you knew him best.

We welcomed Tom to this world on a hot and blistery August 16, 1961 in Robstown, Texas. Since that day he has spread his mayhem and his joy through the Texas cities of Mathis, Pasadena, Abilene, San Angelo, College Station, San Antonio and Dallas. And, along the way, he hit Hamilton and Lorain, Ohio.

But it is Dallas that has been home. That is where he built his successful career in commercial real estate. But, more importantly, that is where he married Laura Murillo and they created a wonderful family of four – Brooke, Trevor, Brynn and Colton. That is where unbearable tragedy struck with the loss of Laura in January 2010.

His focus for these last two years has been on their children but also on building his business – CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners – with his partner John Conger.

But, it is time to celebrate his five decades of life and share with him and all has friends our best memories of Tom. Some discretion is appreciated! But, if he did it, he has to live with it!
